VARNA :: An Introduction
VARNA Varkala Non Residents Association is the Association of VARKALA natives in the Dubai, U.A.E. VARNA founded in October 2002 in Dubai and registered as a Charitable trust in Trivandrum, Kerala in August 2003.Varna is an active member of ICWC (Indian Community Welfare Committee), under Consulate General of India, Dubai, UAE.
VARNA bought 10.45 acres of Land in Varkala from Kanwasramam Trust in November 2003,7.45 Acres of Land for Projects under VARNA investment remaining 3 Acres of Land for VARNA's Head quarters and Social Centre. Different projects are under study. VARNA's investors are finalizing the Project proposal for " Herbal garden cum Natural Ayurvedic Centre and Cottages for Tourists " studied by the Directorate of Agriculture, Kerala Government, Thiruvananthapuram.
